Rear window damaged in Jeep burglary

The rear window of a 2016 Jeep was damaged in a burglary on Greenleaf Street. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

900 Greenleaf

Burglars damaged the rear window of a 2016 Jeep as they gained access to it between noon and 3:20 p.m. yesterday in the 900 block of Greenleaf Street. Missing were hygeine products and a purse.

Criminal Trespass

1722 Brown

Francisco J. Garcia, address unknown, was arrested at 1722 Brown Ave. at 8:54 p.m. Tuesday and charged with criminal trespass to property. He is due in court on Dec. 20 at 9 a.m.

1200 Hinman

Dana M. Hancock, 48, of 634 Hinman Ave., was arrested at 1200 Hinman Ave. at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday and charged with endangering the life or health of a child. She is due in court on Jan. 18 at 10:30 a.m.

Traffic

101 Howard

Adrian Ulises Alanis Moreno, 19, of 5438 W. Parker Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 101 Howard St. at 8:44 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Jan. 3 at 10:30 a.m.

1800 Green Bay

Victorino Cruz, 50, of 5438 S. Houston, Chicago, was arrested at 1800 Green Bay Road at 10:28 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Jan. 18 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
