Here’s a recap of our live coverage of tonight’s Evanston City Council meeting at which the aldermen voted to seek proposals for a new Robert Crown ice skating facility.

They also appeared to support a plan to equip parking enforcement officers with cameras and computer equipment to automatically read license plate numbers and to install bus shelters paid for by a company that will sell ads on the shelters at about three dozen locations around town.
