Meeting called to order at 7:15 p.m.

Honorary street name designation of Greenleaf Street bvetween Florence and Dewey avenues for “Sam McKinley, Jr. Way.”

Approved (after tangential discussion about how to honor dead people. Policy now limits honorary street names to living persons).

Zoning amendment to allow commercial parking lots as special uses in the B3 district (which exists only on Howard Street).

Alderman Ann Rainey, 8th Ward, says the change is needed as business increases on Howard Street. Approved.

Meeting adjourned at 7:23 p.m.

City Council to start at 7:35 p.m.
