P1 – YoFresh Yogurt Cafe, 635 Chicago Ave. #7, special use permit.
Alderman Melissa Wynne, 3rd Ward, recommends suspension of the rules “because we have frozen yogurt weather.”
Approved.
P2 – Amended mto special use for convenience store at 555 Howard St.
Alderman Ann Rainey, 8th Ward, says this is the infamous gas station that had hundreds of police calls a few years ago. Says owners now are very active members of the Howard Street Business Association and have cleaned up their act competely — no police calls recently. So she favors extention of the convenience store rules.
Also moves suspension of rules to give immediate adoption.
Approved.
P3 – Sidewalk cafe for Lucky Platter, 514 Main.
Approved.
