Got junk? You can recycle much of it this Saturday at the city’s annual “Evanston Recycles” event at Evanston Township High School.

Just dump it all in the trunk of your car and drive onto the ETHS grounds off Church Street just west of Brown Avenue between 9 a.m. and noon.

Then follow the signs and stay in your car as city staff unloads items to recycle or shred.

Electronics recycling and document destruction are open to residents of all Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) communities, which includes Evanston.

Additional information about acceptable recycling items and how to prepare them are included on the city’s website.
