Rented U-Haul trailer reported stolen

Someone stole a trailer from the U-Haul rental facility on Dempster Street. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

2100 Dempster

Someone rented a U-Haul trailer in the 2100 block of Dempster Street and failed to turn it in. The incident was reported to police at 12:38 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Dodge

A cell phone left unattended at Evanston Township High School was stolen around 4 p.m. Monday.

Battery

1240 Pitner

Alonzo M. Garner, 45, of 1233 Fowler Ave., was arrested at 1240 Pitner Ave.  at 2:11 p.m. on Oct. 17 and was charged with domestic battery. He was due in court today at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

2200 Central

Photo identification was taken from a 2009 Toyota in an apartment parking space in the 2200 block of Central Street between 10 p.m. Monday and 5:15 a.m. yesterday.

1622 Payne

Tristan Florendo Ong, 36, of 1838 Ashland Ave., was arrested at 1622 Payne St. at 10:05 a.m. Sunday and charged with residential burglary.

Criminal Trespass

1603 Orrington

Dahlke Dugan Jackson, 21, of 305 Holmes, Shakopee, was arrested at 1603 Orrington Ave. at 7:49 p.m. Sunday and charged with trespass on real property. He is due in court on Dec. 6 at 10:30 a.m.

Bruno A. Aguilar, 19, of 1828 Brown Ave., was arrested at 408 Custer Ave. at 3 p.m. Thursday and charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm.

323 Sherman

Ulises J. Barrera, 19, of 2003 Darrow Ave., was arrested at 323 Sherman Ave. at 3 p.m. Thursday and charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm.

2120 Madison

Throy Bobby Nightingale, 30, of 1460 Pitner Ave., was arrested at 2120 Madison Place at 11:11 a.m. yesterday and charged with unlawful use of a firearm.

Robbery

1200 Madison

Brian A. Herron, 33, of 5006 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, and Maia Y. Space, 20, of 1921 S. Homan Ave., Chicago, were arrested at 1200 Madison St. at 1:38 a.m. Saturday and charged with aggravated robbery.

600 Main

Robert N. Saenz, 42, of 7528 S. Eggleston, Chicago, was arrested at 600 Main St. at 12:57 a.m. Saturday and charged with armed robbery.

Traffic

829 Case

Raven A. Brothers, 21, of 2017 Joanna Ave., Zion, was arrested at 829 Case St. at 12:15 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 8 at 9 a.m.

1911 Green Bay

Karla Nallely Martinez, 19, of 2848 S. Sawyer Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1911 Green Bay Road at 11:34 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Nov. 17 at 1:30 p.m.

Ridge at Crain

Maxwell A. Ross, 45, of 1918 Orrington Ave., was arrested at Ridge Avenue and Crain Street at 12:42 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Nov. 9 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
