This is a volunteer position and it involves such duties as attending monthly board meetings, an occasional neighborhood meeting, overseeing the annul budget, and working to maintain and strengthen the park district.

The Ridgeville Park District was established in 1939 to provide parks, facilities and recreational programs to residents of south Evanston.
