500 Asbury
The driver of a 2017 Chevrolet told police that the driver of a Volvo he was passing in the 500 block of Asbury Avenue threw an unidentified object at his vehicle, causing a dent, at about 10:45 p.m. yesterday. Then the Volvo driver reportedly waved what looked like a gun at the victim, he said.
BATTERY
800 Hinman
George Sabo, 26, of 800 Hinman Ave., was arrested at that address at 5:20 p.m. Thursday and charged with domestic battery.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
1100 Grove
Someone damaged the front door of a residence in the 1100 block of Grove Street at about 12:05 p.m. yesterday.
THEFT
2400 Howard
Food items were stolen from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street at about 6:30 p.m. Friday.
1800 Howard
A theft of food was reported by a Mexican restaurant in the 1800 block of Howard Street at about 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Davis at Sherman
A light blue bicycle that was secured to a bike rack near Davis Street and Sherman Avenue was stolen between 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:20 a.m. yesterday.
1800 Main
A black Critical Cycles Harper bicycle that was secured to a fence in the 1800 block of Main Street was stolen between 8:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Friday.
2700 Hampton
A Quintana Roo triathalon bicycle was stolen from a secured locker room in the 2700 block of Hampton Parkway between 4 p.m. on July 4 and 10:15 p.m. Friday.
TRAFFIC
Howard at Ridge
Bradley Baber, 37, of 705 N. Trumbull Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Howard Street and Ridge Avenue at 10:11 a.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation.
