ROBBERY

100 Asbury

A suspect entered a restricted area at the CVS Pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue at 5:20 p.m. Saturday, grabbed a 21-year-old female employee around the neck, said he had a gun, and demanded medication.

ASSAULT

1819 Leland

Wilword D.  Banner, 40, of 1819 Leland Ave., was arrested at that address at 10:27 p.m. Friday and charged with assault.

BATTERY

355 Ridge

Samuel Endalkachew, 25, of 7341 S. Crandon Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 355 Ridge Ave. at 11:42 p.m. Saturday and charged with battery.

Salacia W. O’Neal, 38, address unknown, was arrested at 355 Ridge Ave. at 3:50 a.m. Saturday and charged with battery.

901 Maple

Darren A. Lunford, 38, of 901 Maple Ave., was arrested at that address at 1:56 p.m. Friday and charged with battery.

BURGLARY

1500 Sherman

Someone attempted to force entry to a restaurant in the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue by defeating the lock, between 10:20 p.m. Saturday and 3:20 p.m. Sunday.

1000 Davis

A burglar broke into the Wheel & Sprocket bike shop in the 1000 block of Davis Street by breaking a door glass at 4:16 a.m. Monday and stole a Trek Marlin 7 bicycle.

3200 Grant

Flatware dining implements were stolen from a home in the 3200 block of Grant Street around 3:30 p.m. Friday.

1200 Noyes

A burglar gained entry to an unsecured storage shed at a home in the 1200 block of Noyes Street between Dec. 9 and noon Sunday and stole a Schwinn mountain bicycle.

2100 Ridge

Someone gained entry to an apartment in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue through an unlocked door between 11:40 a.m. and 3:12 p.m. Friday and stole a purse and contents.

GRAFFITI

1800 Dobson

Black spray-painted graffiti was discovered on the fence of a home in the 1800 block of Dobson Avenue at 12:59 p.m. Friday.

1000 Dodge

Black spray-painted graffiti was discovered on the garage of a home in the 1000 block of Dodge Avenue at 11 a.m. Saturday.

OTHER

1454 Elmwood

Scott Dailing, 60, of 901 Maple Ave., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday and charged with public indecency.

THEFT

800 Ridge

An unsecured black Cannondale bicycle was stolen from a church in the 800 block of Ridge Avenue around noon Saturday.

2300 Central

A blue 2017 Subaru Outback was stolen from the garage of a home in the 2300 block of Central Avenue between 4:15 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday.

1900 Ridge

A package that had been delivered to a residence in the 1900 block of Ridge Avenue was stolen around midnight Tuesday.

1700 Sherman

Miscellaneous items were taken from a CVS Pharmacy in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue at 9:23 a.m. Friday.

2600 Ridge

A wallet was stolen from a room at Evanston Hospital between Dec. 4 and 5 p.m. Thursday.

TRAFFIC

1512 Sherman

Donald Richard Dennis, 66, of 1505 ½ Oak Ave., was arrested at 1512 Sherman Ave. at 11:55 a.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation.
