A 38-year-old man was reportedly robbed of cash and medical marijuana in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue. This among the stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

ROBBERY

1400 Chicago

Some $160 in cash, plus seven grams of medical marijuana, was reported taken by force from a 38-year-old man in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue by an acquaintance at about 5 p.m. yesterday.

BURGLARY

2100 Keeney

An unlocked door provided access for a burglar to a 2004 Cadillac in the 2100 block of Keeney Street between 8 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. Monday. Nothing was reported taken.

1800 Keeney

Miscellaneous items were taken from an unlocked 2006 Toyota in the 1800 block of Keeney Street between 4 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

800 Main

A glass window was damaged at a retail establishment in the 800 block of Main Street between 4 a.m. and 6:25 a.m. yesterday.

1400 Brown

A cell phone was damaged at an apartment in the 1400 block of Brown Avenue around 8:30 p.m. yesterday.

1800 Hovland

Someone damaged the bumper of a 2014 Nissan in the 1800 block of Hovland Court at 5:19 p.m. Monday.

DRUGS

2600 Ridge

Ronald L. Evans, 27, of 1338 S. Troy St., Chicago, was arrested at 2600 Ridge Ave. at 12:38 p.m. Monday and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. His driver, Tecora S. Wiley, 22, of 2940 S. State St., Chicago, was arrested and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Dec. 4 at 10:30 a.m.

GRAFFITI

3200 Central

Graffiti was discovered at Bent Park at about 5 p.m. Monday.

THEFT

700 South Boulevard

A thief damaged an ignition cylinder in an unsuccessful attempt to steal a 2006 Jeep in the 700 block of South Boulevard between 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 p.m. Monday.

1400 Chicago

A 2003 Toyota was stolen in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue around 10 a.m. yesterday.

900 Dempster

A package containing musical equipment that was delivered to an apartment common area in the 900 block of Dempster Street was stolen between 1:10 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. yesterday.

1600 Sherman

Some toys were stolen from the Target store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue at about 8:45 a.m. today.

1700 Sherman

A cell phone was stolen from a store in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue shortly after 2 p.m. Monday.

2450 Main

Sharon Fields Burns, 51, of 3348 W. Rice St., Chicago, was arrested at 2450 Main St. at 4:08 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on Dec. 12 at 9 a.m.
