A robber, with several accomplices, accosted a pizza delivery driver in an apartment common area in the 400 block of Main Street, stealing the keys to his vehicle after hitting him in the head. This among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Robbery

400 Main

A pizza delivery driver’s car keys were taken after he had been hit over the head by a robber in an apartment common area in the 400 block of Main Street around 11:15 p.m. yesterday. The perpetrator and several accomplices then fled in the vehicle and were pursued by police.

Assault

1408 Brown

Gerald A. Brooks, 52, of 1408 Brown Ave., was arrested at that address at 12:39 a.m. Saturday and charged with aggravated assault. He is due in court on Aug. 14 at 9 a.m.

1700 Sherman

Ravshan Ibragimov, 51, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1700 Sherman Ave. at 1:32 p.m. Saturday and charged with assault. He is due in court on July 31 at 9 a.m.

Burglary

2400 Main

Stolen keys were used to take a 2015 Nissan from the 2400 block of Main Street between midnight and 10:09 a.m. Friday.

1300 Seward

A bicycle was taken from the unlocked garage of a home in the 1300 block of Seward Street between 3 p.m. June 30 and 4:45 p.m. Friday.

900 Chicago

Someone accessed an unlocked 1998 Toyota in the garage of a home in the 900 block of Chicago Avenue between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 10:55 a.m. Saturday.

1000 Grove

An open door provided access for a burglar to an office building in the 1000 block of Grove Street between 10 a.m. and 10:08 a.m. Thursday.

400 Davis

Burglars entered a 1996 Honda in an apartment parking space in the 400 block of Davis Street between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 8:20 a.m. yesterday.

400 Custer

Cash, documents, food, and a cell phone were among items taken from an unlocked 2018 Acura in an apartment parking space in the 400 block of Custer Avenue between 8 p.m. Saturday and 9:58 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

2700 Ewing

Damage to a window frame was reported at a home in the 2700 block of Ewing Avenue around 7:03 p.m. yesterday.

1700 Orrington

Someone struck a window with a rock at a restaurant in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue around 8 p.m. Friday.

The glass door to a restaurant in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue was kicked at about 3:23  p.m. Saturday.

2200 Emerson

A window was pushed in at an apartment in the 2200 block of Emerson Street between 1 p.m. and 4:54 p.m. Friday.

Drugs

9600 Crawford

Matthew W. Henderson, 18, of 1931 S. Falcon Drive, Libertyville, was arrested at 9600 Crawford Ave. at 12:05 a.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Graffiti

300 Sheridan

Graffiti was discovered on the beach in the 300 block of Sheridan Road at 10:44 a.m. yesterday.

Other

2011 Grey

Sheldon C. Graham, 47, of 2011 Grey Ave., was arrested at that address at 8 p.m. Friday and charged with fleeing and eluding police. He is due in court on Aug. 19 at 9 a.m.

Shots Heard

1400 Noyes

Gunshots were reported in the 1400 block of Noyes Street at 10:20 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

2500 Oakton

Vehicle parts were taken from a 2001 Mitsubishi in a business parking lot in the 2500 block of Oakton Street between noon Thursday and 7:28 a.m. Friday.

2200 Oakton

Tools were stolen from a hardware store in the 2200 block of Oakton Street between 12:50 p.m. and 2:18 p.m. Friday.

700 Oakton

A bicycle was stolen while unsecured in an apartment storage area in the 700 block of Oakton Street around 6 p.m. Saturday

2400 Main

Cosmetics were taken from a store in the 2400 block of Main Street between 9:10 a.m. Wednesday and 1 p.m. Friday.

700 Washington

Jewelry was taken from a store in the 700 block of Washington Street around 3:15 p.m. Friday.

600 Linden

A bicycle was stolen from an apartment parking space in the 600 block of Linden Place between 8 p.m. Saturday and 8:20 a.m. yesterday.

300 Dempster

A package delivered to an apartment common area in the 300 block of Dempster Street was stolen around 6 p.m. Saturday.

1900 Dempster

Alcoholic products were stolen from a grocery store in the 1900 block of Dempster Street between 7:10 p.m. and 7:38 p.m. Friday.

1100 Chicago

Alcoholic products were taken from a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 6:20 p.m. yesterday.

900 Foster

Cash was taken while unattended at a restaurant in the 900 block of Foster Street between 11:15 p.m. Thursday and midnight Friday.

100 Ridge

Cash and a purse were taken while unattended at a gas station in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue at 9:22 p.m. yesterday.

2450 Main

Lorraine Wimberly-Norfleet, 53, of 9965 Linda Lane, Des Plaines, was arrested at 2450 Main St. at 4:49 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on Aug. 29 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

1728 Simpson

Ivan Alvarez-Saenz, 37, of 2037 Darrow Ave., was arrested at 1728 Simpson St. at 11:36 a.m. Friday and charged with driving under the influence.

2011 Grey

Emily Correa, 18, of 6110 N.  Claremont Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2011 Grey Ave. at 8 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Aug. 8 at 9 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
