An armed robber on a Divvy bicycle hijacked a Honda on Brummel Street This among stories in Monday’s daily crime report from Evanston police.
THEFT
700 Brummel
An armed individual riding a rented Divvy bicycle demanded a Honda owner’s keys to his 2014 CR-V in the 700 block of Brummel Street at about 7:40 p.m. Friday and drove off with the car, leaving the Divvy behind. The robber was described by the victim as a black male in his 20s.

1600 Chicago
A wallet was stolen at a car wash in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue around 7 p.m. Thursday.

2100 Dempster
A white 2021 Ford Transit truck rented from U-Haul in the 2100 block of Dempster Street was reported as stolen at 2:38 p.m. Friday when it was not returned as scheduled.

2100 Ewing
A white 2022 Kia Niro was stolen in the 2100 block of Ewing Avenue at about 4 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle was located later in Skokie.

100 Callan
A tan 2000 Toyota Avalon was stolen from a parking lot in the 100 block of Callan Avenue between 6 p.m. Friday and 11:19 a.m. Saturday.

2300 Howard
Electionic merchandise was taken from a store in the 2300 block of Howard Street around 5 p.m. Sunday.

1100 Church
Cell phones were reported stolen from a residence in the 1100 block of Church Street around 5 p.m. Friday.

1700 Benson
Electronic items were taken from a gym locker in the 1700 block of Benson Avenue between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

1000 Hull
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2012 Ford in the 1000 block of Hull Terrace between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday.

2201 Oakton
Jonathan D. Koziol, 38, of 4251 N. Keystone Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2201 Oakton St. at 1 p.m. Sunday and charged with retail theft.

BATTERY
1454 Elmwood
Lillian T. McCord, 57, of 5305 W. Potomac Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 2:29 p.m. Tuesday and charged with battery.

Parin P. Shah, 27, of 225 N. Columbus Drive, Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 3:29 p.m. Thursday and charged with domestic battery and violation of an order of protection.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
300 Dempster
A window was broken by a bottle thrown through it at a residence in the 300 block of Dempster Street at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

GRAFFITI
3200 Central
White paint graffiti was discovered in the 3200 block of Central Street at 5:43 p.m. Sunday.

SHOTS HEARD
200 Ridge
Gunshots were reported in the 200 block of Ridge Avenue at 12:37 a.m. Sunday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

TRAFFIC
1805 Madison
Cameron M. Coley, 34, of 2011 Emerson St., was arrested at 1805 Madison St. at 9:19 a.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation.
