Assault

2400 Oakton

An offender displayed a knife during an altercation at a gas station in the 2400 block of Oakton Street between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday.

Battery

1233 Fowler

Alonzo M. Garner, 44, of 1233 Fowler Ave., was arrested at that address at 2:20 a.m. Thursday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on June 7 at 9:30 a.m.

1900 Howard

Robert J. Merschantz, 35, of 936 E. 93d St., Chicago, was arrested at 1900 Howard St. at 8:24 a..m. Friday and charged with battery.

Burglary

2200 Ridge

A burglar climbed through the open window of an apartment in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue between 2 p.m. Saturday and 12:37 p.m. Sunday and stole a laptop computer, headphones, sunglasses, and jewelry.

1200 Oak

A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 1200 block of Oak Avenue between noon on May 21 and 9 a.m. Friday.

Criminal Damage

Dodge at Lake

Someone dented a 2009 Chevrolet near Dodge Avenue and Lake Street between 3:55 p.m. and 4:02 p.m. Saturday.

1800 Darrow

A window was shattered at a home in the 1800 block of Darrow Avenue between 5 p.m. Sunday and 8:44 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Trespass

630 Mulford

Jermaine Edwards, 41, of 630 Mulford St., was arrested at that address at 5:07 a.m. Friday and charged with criminal trespass of real property. He is due in court on July 24 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti

Greenleaf at Chicago

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk near Greenleaf Street and Chicago Avenue at 1:37 p.m. Friday.

Other

Hamilton at Judson

A man with a gun was reported near Hamilton Street and Judson Avenue around 1:15 p.m. Sunday. Police checked the area but found no man with a gun.

Robbery

800 Seward

A restaurant delivery driver, while making change for three men in the 800 block of Seward Street, was reportedly punched in the face, and his assailants took the food he was delivering at about 11 p.m. Thursday.

Theft

1500 Sherman

Jewelry was stolen from a hair care shop in the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on May 21.

Chicago at Lake

A “Black Lives Matter” sign was stolen from a religious institution at Chicago Avenue and Lake Street  between 6 p.m. on May 23 and 7 p.m. Friday.

Ridge at Colfax

A pickpocket removed a cell phone from the pocket of a victim on the sidewalk near Ridge Avenue and Colfax Street around 9 p.m. Wednesday.

1700 Maple

A locked bicycle was stolen from the sidewalk in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m.Thursday.

1200 Howard

A thief broke a window that triggered the alarm at an auto service facility in the 1200 block of Howard Street at about 9:53 p.m. Friday and stole a white 2003 Volvo S40.

1454 Elmwood

Tevin D’Andre Zellicoffer, 23, of 1704 N. Laramie Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 10:33 a.m. on May 21 and charged with theft.

2400 Howard

A theft occurred at a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street at about 3:30 p.m. yesterday.

Maple at Church

A bicycle was stolen from the sidewalk at Maple Avenue and Church Street around 3:25 p.m. yesterday.

1800 Maple

A bicycle was stolen in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. yesterday.

2485 Howard

Rufus R. Duncan, 44, of 1717 W. Northshore Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2485 Howard St. at 4:05 p.m. yesterday and charged with theft.

3013 Howard

Laronn B. Fields, 51, of 6800 S. Normal, Chicago, was arrested at 3013 Howard St. at 5:57 a.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on July 10 at 10 a.m.

1966 Dempster

Jose A. Alvarez-Gomez, 31, of 7422 N. Damen Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1966 Dempster St. at 12:39 a.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 20 at 10:30 a.m.

Main at Florence

Juan Espinoza, 24, of 1100 N. Central Park, Chicago, was arrested at Main Street and Florence Avenue at 6 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 20 at 9 a.m.

Marshfield at Howard

Dontia S. Arrington, 36, of 7931 Kedzie Ave., Chicago, was arrested at  Marshfield Avenue and Howard Street at 12:47 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on June 27 at 9 a.m.

518 Dempster

Justin L. Bryant, 36, of 1928 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 518 Dempster St. at 12:47 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 12 at 10:30 a.m.

2200 Oakton

Armando Martinez, 26, of 2657 N. Mulligan Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2200 Oakton St. at 10:55 p.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 24 at 10:30 a.m.

1400 Dempster

Michael I. Rockoff, 69, of 14 Avon Road, Northbrook, was arrested at 1400 Dempster St.. at 4:30 p.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 5 at 9 a.m.

1966 Dempster

Robert F. Rodak, 23, of 128 E. Hickory St., Lombard, was arrested at 1966 Dempster St. at 1:38 a.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 12 at 9 a.m.

1133 Asbury

Samuel L. Thomas, 71, of 1043 Darrow Ave., was arrested at 1133 Asbury Ave. at 5:18 p.m. Sunday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on July 12 at 9 a.m.
