Someone attempted a robbery at a gas station on Howard and a secured bicycle was stolen on Benson. These are among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Aggravated Battery

300 Ridge

Robert Mark Pukal, 54, 1511 Dempster St., was arrested at 355 Ridge Ave. at 11:16 p.m. Tuesday and charged with aggravated battery.

Assault

1600 Sherman

Stetson Pierre Thomas, 29, 7369 N. Winchester in Chicago, was arrested at 1600 Sherman Ave. at 12:02 p.m. Tuesday, charged with assault and is due to appear in Skokie District Court at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 31.

Domestic Battery

1200 Darrow

Kevin Jermaine Robinson, 26, 1232 Darrow Ave., was arrested at 1232 Darrow Ave. at 4:42 a.m. this morning, charged with domestic battery and is due to appear in Skokie District Court at 9 a.m. Aug. 15.

Robbery

500 Howard

Someone unsuccessfully demanded money from a victim at a gas station in the 500 block of Howard Street at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday.

Theft

1600 Sherman

Keys were removed from the counter of a department store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 12:44 and 12:56 p.m. Tuesday.

1600 Benson

A secured bicycle was stolen from a bike rack in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue at 6:03 p.m. Tuesday.

Traffic

1400 Elmwood

Tina S. Drew, 47, 9129 S. Clyde Ave. in Chicago, was arrested for a traffic violation at 1454 Elmwood Ave. at 10:08 Tuesday and is due to appear in Skokie District Court at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23.

1400 Howard

Scott G. Peterson, 54, 5017 N. Francisco Ave. in Chicago, was arrested for a traffic violation at 1421 Howard St. at 1:54 a.m. this morning and is due to appear in Skokie District Court at 9 a.m. Sept. 20.

1300 Ridge

Prince Alonz Sanders, 32, 1423 Darrow Ave., was arrested for a traffic violation at 1300 Ridge Ave. at 9:38 a.m. Friday and is due to appear in Skokie District Court at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 30.
