400 Sheridan

A 22-year-old Evanston man was confronted by a robber, displaying a weapon, who damanded his property in the 400 block of Sheridan Square at about 6 p.m. yesterday.

Burglary

900 Edgemere

Someone damaged a door in an attempt to enter a home in the 900 block of Edgemere Court between 5:45 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

800 Monroe

An attempt was made to open the kitchen sliding door of a home in the 800 block of Monroe Street around 11:21 p.m. Saturday.

1400 Judson

Someone removed the window screen and made pry marks on the sliding door in an unsuccessful attempt to enter a home in the 1400 block of Judson Avenue between 10:20 p.m. and 10:55 p.m. Saturday.

Criminal Trespass

2424 Davis

Amber N. Harden, 20, of 7718 S. Carpenter Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2424 Davis St. yesterday at 3:12 p.m. and charged  with criminal trespass. She is due in court on March 7 at 1:30 p.m.

2214 Davis

Nehemiah J. Phillips, 21, of 730 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2214 Davis St. at 4:35 p.m. yesterday and charged with criminal trespass. He is due in court on March 7 at 1:30 p.m.

Drugs

2400 Main

Emanuel Jumatate, 35, of 6142 N. California Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2400 Main St. at 12:09 a.m. today and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He is due in court on March 16 at 9 a.m.

Daniel Jumatate, 38, of 731 Elm St., Winnetka, was arrested at 2400 Main St. at 12:03 a.m. today and charged with possession of a hypodermic needle. He is due in court on March 16 at 9 a.m.

Shots Heard

Greenwood at Grey

Gunshots were reported at Greenwood Street and Grey Avenue at about 6:10 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

1600 Sherman

A black Canada Goose winter coat was removed from the hangar in the locker room of a health club in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday.

400 Sherman

A black four-door 2012 Dodge was taken from the 400 block of Sherman Avenue between 11 p.m. Friday and 5:39 a.m. today.

Traffic

Church at Chicago

Quinci E. Jones, 48, of 5757 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at Church Street and Chicago Avenue at 11:50 p.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on March 16 at 10:30 a.m. 

Grove at Ridge

Fitzroy C. Lawrence, 47, of 2121 Darrow Ave., was arrested at Grove Street and Ridge Avenue at 3:49 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 30 at 9 a.m.

1100 Ridge

Oscar Nunez, 23, of 2929 N. Merrimac Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1100 Ridge Ave. at 9:07 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 28 at 9 a.m.

300 Sheridan

Juan Puente, 60, of 1209 W. Sherwin Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 300 Sheridan Road at 11:47 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m. 

1801 Howard

William A. Scott, 25, of 7742 N. Marshfield Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 6:05 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation.
