A robbery of cash occurred on the sidewalk in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue at noon yesterday.

Battery

2650 Ridge

Robert N. Saenz, 44, address unknown, was arrested at 2650 N. Ridge Ave. at 11:31 p.m. yesterday and was charged with battery that causes bodily harm.

Criminal Damage

1400 Oak

Lights were damaged at an apartment common area in the 1400 block of Oak Avenue around 8:50 a.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
