Evanston police say a man was punched and robbed in the 2200 block of Lake Street late Wednesday afternoon.

The victim said several male teenagers, about 17 or 18 years old, wearing hooded sweat shirts approached him from behind about 5:45 p.m.

One covered the victim’s eyes while another punched him. The robbers grabbed a cell phone, an iPod and cash before fleeing.
