Skating teams from Evanston’s Robert Crown Recreation Center were victorious at the Theater on Ice Nationals held last weekend at Geneva, Illinois.
The Intermediate team faced 16 other teams froun around the country. Their near-perfect short program skate placed them firmly at the top of the standings. Their Urban Legends program wowed the capacity crowd and sealed a national championship.

The Preliminary Team faced competition from 13 other teams. They skated to seventh place after their short program. Their Ghostbusters long program catapulted them to fourth place and earned them a pewter medal.
