For the third year in a row, the Arc Theatre Company returns to the outdoor stage at Ridgeville Park in Evanston with a new production of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.”

Directed by Arc‘s artistic director, Mark Boergers, the play will run on Saturday and Sunday nights from July 14 to Aug. 5. The free performances start at 7 p.m.

Limited seating will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, but patrons are welcome to bring their own blankets or chairs for the lawn seating area.

Shakespeare on the Ridge is sponsored by the non-profit Ridgeville Cultural Development Foundation and has received support from the Women’s Club of Evanston, the Main Street Merchants Association, St. Francis Resurrection Health Care, Whole Foods Market, Campagnola, Walgreens, onPoint Strategy, J.B.
