The Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club is holding its annual holiday sale to raise money for local and international humanitarian projects.

Club members offer a raft of holiday items including poinsettias and other flowers, wreaths, garland, Florida grapefruits and oranges, honey glazed hams, gourmet nuts and trail mix.

They hope to raise more than $60,000 to continue their charitable projects in 2012.

Recent projects include renovating the kitchen at a shelter for battered women, supporting a local food pantry, providing clothes to needy children, drilling water wells in Nigeria, building latrines in Burkina Faso and establishing a dental clinic in Ecuador.

More information about the holiday sale is available online.
