The Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club is seeking proposals for projects and programs that meet the group’s 2012-13 community service theme.

That theme calls for supporting local organizations and programs that help build a strong Evanston community by meeting the needs of Evanston’s most vulnerable residents, including youth, seniors, the unemployed, and the under-employed.

Preference will be given to projects created by the Evanston150 Idea Teams working on interest areas that fit this year’s theme.

Projects should demonstrate a need not supported by the organization’s ongoing operating budget and should not exceed $3,000.

Proposals are due no later than April 16, 2013 and are to be sent to goranson.stephen@gmail.com. More information is available on the club’s website.
