Santa will pay a special holiday visit to the Downtown Evanston office at 820 Davis St., Suite 151, on Saturdays, Dec. 3 and 10, from Noon to 4 p.m.

Parents are invited to bring their cameras and kids their wish lists to the free event.

Downtown Evanston Gift Cards will also be available for sale at the event. The prepaid gift cards can be redeemed at over 120 downtown Evanston restaurants and shops and the Century Theatres.

The gift card is available in denominations from $5 to $500 and can be purchased with Visa, MasterCard and Discover. The gift card operates on a closed loop system, which means it is valid only at participating downtown Evanston businesses, keeping funds local and in the community.

Purchasers of the gift card will also receive a “Passport to Downtown Evanston” featuring valuable offers from businesses which welcome the gift card.

The gift card is also available during regular business hours at the Downtown Evanston office and at First Bank and Trust at 820 Church St.

Free parking is available in the city’s three downtown garages during the holiday season from 5 p.m. to midnight weekdays and all day Saturdays and Sundays during the holiday season.
