Criminal Damage

800 Dodge

A disgruntled customer damaged the scanner at a convenience store in the 800 block of Dodge Avenue around 12:24 p.m. Saturday.

1800 Maple

Someone damaged the exit gate at the city parking garage in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue between 6:10 p.m. and midnight yesterday.

1800 Ashland

Jamere M. Gregory, 28, of 1803 Hartrey Ave., was arrested at 1800 Ashland Ave. at 11:55 a.m. Saturday and charged with criminal damage to property. He is due in court on Jan. 17 at 9:30 a.m.

Battery

800 Elgin 

Arni Miller, 68, of 800 Elgin Road, was arrested at that address at 5:49 p.m. Thursday and charged with aggravated domestic battery. 

Burglary

300 Callan

Documents were taken from an unlocked 2009 Hyundai in the 300 block of Callan Avenue between 4 p.m. Friday and 7:56 a.m.Saturday.

Theft

900 Church

Clothing was taken from a retail establishment in the 900 block of Church Street around 5:42 p.m.yesterday.

1900 Dewey

A package containing clothing that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 1900 block of Dewey Avenue was stolen between 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday.

355 Ridge

Monique D. Cavallero, 48, of 4727 Main St.,Skokie, was arrested at 355 Ridge Ave. around noon Saturday and charged with theft. She is due in court on Feb. 22 at 9 a.m.

519 Main

Karwin K. Williams, 53, of 1020 W  Lawrence Ave., was arrested at 519 Main St. at 4:15 p.m.yesterday and charged with theft. He is due in court on March 9 at 10:30 a.m.

Traffic

1425 Hartrey

Juan Manuel Esteban, of 1819 Hovland Ct., was arrested at 1425 Hartrey Ave. at 10:08 a.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Jan. 22 at 9 a.m. 

400 Main

Quinton D. Hicks, 32, of 7934 S. Marshfield Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 400 Main St. at 4:38 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.

1011 Dempster

Arturo Villavicencio, 48, of 5042 Ainsle Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1011 Dempster St. at 4:32 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on March 1 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
