With 10 of 61 precincts reporting, the Evanston/Skokie School District 65 new school referendum is losing by a 55 to 45 percent margin.

With 8 of 53 precincts reporting the electricity referendum is winning easily by a 74 to 26 percent margin.

And the referendum on dissolving Evanston township is winning by a 68 to 32 percent margin.

Because the school district includes a portion of Skokie there are more precincts to tally for that referendum than for the other issues.

In races for the 9th judicial subcircuit, former Evanston alderman Lionel Jean-Baptist has a narrow 51 to 49 percent lead over Michael Ian Bender with 49 of 163 precincts reported. And Larry G.
