Both Evanston Township High School and the Evanston/Skokie District 65 elementary and middle schools will be closed again Tuesday due to the cold weather, but both districts are expecting to operate a full schedule on Wednesday.
In addition, Kindergarten Information Night at District 65 has been cancelled and all ETHS activities have been cancelled except for the District 202 Board meeting Tuesday night, which will take place as planned.
District 65 warned parents that buses may run late on Wednesday due to the cold weather and that parents should ensure that their kids are dressed appropriately in case they have to stand in the cold longer than usual to wait for the bus.
Both districts say they expect a normal schedule for classes and other meetings and activities on Wednesday.
A college to die for in our Winters !
A college in Wisc. [no less] has four miles of tunnels from dorms to classrooms so students don't have to go outside. I bet their applications soar after this. NU students take note.
And I thought CalTech tunnels were about the best [of course they have no Winter and they are not exactly beautiful] tunnel system.
