Evanston Now has launched a new feature that lets readers report problems with city services right on our website and monitor their progress toward resolution.
Whether it’s a street light out, a pothole, graffiti, or a garbage pickup problem — or, given the high winds overnight, perhaps a downed tree limb — you can now report problems to Evanston’s 311 citizen support center directly from Evanston Now.
Just go to our “Got a problem? Get it fixed!” page.
This new feature is made possible by the city’s new collaboration, announced last week, with the Connecticut-based company SeeClickFix that offers tools for citizens to report issues to government agencies in an effort to improve the delivery of municipal services.
You’ll also find a list of the latest issues reported in the right column on our home page.
great idea!
This is a wonderful thing. Many pats on the back to whoever was involved in bringing it into operation.
