Evanston’s Levy Senior Center is seeking new members for its advisory board.

Two openings are effective this month, with a third one available next March.

The board advises staff on programs and serves as a liaison between staff and members and participants.

Board members serve two-year terms, up to a maximum of three consecutive terms, or a total of six years. Monthly meetings are held at the center, generally at 8:30 a.m. on the first Monday of the month. Meetings typically last an hour.

Board members must be Levy Center members. Center membership is open to those 55 and older. Annual dues are $30 for residents and $50 for nonresidents.

For more information or to apply, contact Christina Ferraro, the center’s manager, at cferraro@cityofevanston.org or 847-448-8250.
