Registration has begun for day and evening classes in basic sewing, tailoring and pattern making that begin Jan. 5 at the Holiday Inn Skokie at 5300 W. Touhy Ave.

The classes are taught by Eric W. Stiles Sr., owner of the EWS Tailoring & Fashion Design Academy in Chicago.

He has taught tailoring and fashion design at Oakton Community College and other community colleges.
