Moser Sewing Studio, a complete sewing school, is now open at its new location, 906 Sherman Ave., one building north of Main Street in the Main Street Station Shopping District.

Owner Martha Moser says the studio is open during scheduled class hours and by appointment, as well as for special events.

“We offer instruction in sewing for all ages at all levels of experience, as well as classes for those in teaching and sewing professions,” explains Moser, who holds a bachelor’s degree in clothing and textiles from the University of Kansas.

Classes include Altered Couture: From Junk Jeans to Snappy Skirts, Dolly and Me, Alterations for the Home Sewer, Tailoring Classes, and Sewing in Steps — 7 Basic Level of Instruction which students complete at their own pace.

More information and a list of classes are available on the studio’s website.
