THEFT
2400 Main
A shoplifter removed a 14-karat gold stud earring and a pendant on a silver chain, valued at a total of $2,295, from Sam’s Club, in the 2400 block of Main Street, around 9 a.m. Thursday, according to store officials.

Central at Broadway
A locked bicycle was stolen from the sidewalk near Central Street and Broadway Avenue between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday.

200 Asbury
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2006 Toyota in the 200 block of Asbury Avenue between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.

TRAFFIC
2301 Howard
Justin C. McClure, 27, of 7448 N. Seeley Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2301 Howard St. at 11:32 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation.
