Items were reported stolen yesterday in the computer departments of stores downtown and on Howard Street. These among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.


1600 Sherman

Two Amazon Firesticks were taken from the computer department of the Target store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue at 9:15 a.m. yesterday.

2200 Howard

A Hewlett Packard laptop computer was taken from the computer department of the Office Max store in the 2200 block of Howard Street at 9:35 a.m. yesterday.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
