Theft

2400 Howard

Clothing items were stolen at a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 5 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Sherman

Alcoholic products were taken from a retailer in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around 8:21 a.m. yesterday.

Battery

1454 Elmwood

Robert A. Henry, 52, of 1804 Lake St., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 12:51 p.m. Friday and charged with domestic battery.

Graffiti

500 Chicago

Graffiti was discovered at the Chicago Transit Authority depot in the 500 block of Chicago Avenue at 9:31 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic

7510 Western

Patti Ann Akram, 50, of 7516½ N. Hoyne Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 7510 N. Western Ave., Chicago, at 3:01 p.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Feb. 25 at 10:30 a.m.

California at Jerome

Gabrielle J. Barber, 18, of 3018 W. Devon Ave., Chicago, was arrested at California Avenue and Jerome Street, Chicago, at 9:39 p.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Feb. 25 at 10:30 a.m.

7556 Claremont

Charles T. Harrison, 73, of 2145 W. Chase Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 7556 N. Claremont Ave., Chicago, at 4:31 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.

Western at Howard

Bernerdino Padilla, 33, of 4051 N. LaPorte Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Western Avenue and Howard Street at 8:32 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation.

800 Ridge

Ladale E. Smith, 37, of 1917 S. Ninth Ave., Maywood, was arrested at 800 Ridge Ave. at 1:12 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 14 at 10:30 a.m.

1400 Asbury

Kevin A. Whitmore, 48, of 1530 South Blvd., was arrested at 1400 Asbury Ave. at 3:04 p.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 7 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
