A shoplifter stole food at the Jewel on Howard Street, and graffiti was discovered in two locations on Lake Street. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

2400 Howard

A shoplifter stole food items from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 2:30 a.m. today.

Graffiti

900 Lake

Graffiti was discovered in the 900 block of Lake Street at 12:34 p.m. yesterday.

800 Lake

Graffiti was discovered on Chicago Transit Authority property in the 800 block of Lake Street at 3:38 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of .guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
