Two Evanston women reported being shot at while driving in the 300 block of Asbury Avenue Friday night. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.
Two women, ages 27 and 34, from Evanston were driving a 2014 Chevrolet in the 300 block of Asbury Avenue when they reported to police that someone in another car shot at them shortly after 9 p.m. Friday. Casings recovered at the scene indicated that three shots were fired. Neither the women nor the car in which they were riding were hit by the bullets.
Firdous S. Ahmad, 50, of 1425 Howard St., was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at 1600 Dodge Ave. and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on May 25 at 9:30 a.m.
Patrick L. Cash, 34, of 1714 Leland Ave. was arrested at that address at 5:27 a.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on May 18 at 9:30 a.m.
Marquise T. Martin, 31, of 2300 Noyes Court, was arrested at that address at 12:45 a.m. Friday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on May 25 at 9:30 a.m.
A cell phone was stolen from a 2009 Harley-Davidson vehicle in a business parking lot in the 2400 block of Howard St. between 11:30 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. yesterday.
A laptop computer was taken from an apartment in the 300 block of Callan Avenue between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Friday
An open door to a garage of a home in the 2200 block of Madison Place provided access for a burglar who stole a lawn mower between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday.
Cash was stolen from an unlocked 2010 Toyota in the 2700 block of Payne Street between 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
A 2014 Ford vehicle was entered between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Orrington Avenue.
An iPad was stolen from a 2015 Chevrolet in a municipal parking lot in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue between 6:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
David Tobias Haymer, 42, of 6206 N. Hermitage, Chicago, was arrested at 833 Foster St. at 10:25 a.m. yesterday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is due in court on June 30 at 9 a.m.
Vasil M. Stoychev, 20, of 4202 Central St., Glenview, was arrested at 711 Howard St. at 7:29 p.m. Friday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is due in court on June 20 at 9 a.m.
Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk In the 1500 block of Central Street at 10:50 a.m. Friday.
Graffiti defaced a park building in the 2600 block of Sheridan Road between 3 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Friday.
Richard A. Anderson, 28, of 2321 Foster St., was arrested at 2323 Foster St. at 11:50 p.m. Saturday and charged with obstructing justice. He is due in court on June 27 at 9 a.m.
Cruz Loyd, 28, of 4849 Hull, Skokie, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 9:40 a.m. Friday and charged with disorderly conduct. He is due in court on May 27 at 1:30 p.m.
Tremell Deonte Richardson, 30, of 6919 N. Sheridan, Chicago, was arrested at 2125 Howard St. at 12:07 a.m. Friday and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm as a felon. He is due in court on May 31 at 10:30 a.m.

2400 Central Park
A 2012 black Honda was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 2400 block of Central Park Avenue between 1:30 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. Thursday.
A cell phone was stolen from a gym locker in the 100 block of Church Street between 8:50 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Clothing and shoes that had been delivered to an apartment/condo common area in the 200 block of Ridge Avenue were stolen between 1:52 p.m. and 2:22 p.m. Friday.
Jacob D. Velde, 22, of 4711 Ravenswood, Chicago, was arrested at 2301 Oakton St. at 4:05 p.m. Friday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on June 16 at 9 a.m.
Curtis Carter, 24, of 1936 Jackson Ave., was arrested at 1409 Dodge Ave. at 6:06 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 20 at 9 a.m.
Willie J. Chatman, 41, of 3606 W. Huron St., Chicago, was arrested at 300 Main St. at 1:55 a.m. Friday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on June 1 at 9 a.m.

Bobby D. Newson, 49, of 11542 S. Racine Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Green Bay Road and McCormick Boulevard at 1:40 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 30 at 9 a.m.
