Shots Heard

Dobson at Elmwood

Gunshots were reported at Dobson Street and Elmwood Avenue at 12:20 a.m. today. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Battery

2121 Darrow

Maurice R. Rowley, 53, of 2121 Darrow Ave., was arrested at that address at 2:15 a.m. Sunday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on May 8 at 9:30 a.m.

Criminal Damage

1100 Hartrey

Someone broke the driver’s side window of a 2000 Chrysler in the 1100 block of Hartrey Avenue between 8 p.m. Sunday and 6:35 a.m. yesterday.

Other

1117 Howard

Shawn S. Williams, 23, of 814 Mulford St., was arrested at 1117 Howard St. at 5:45 p.m. Friday and charged with resisting or obstructing an officer.

Traffic

1000 Emerson

Jose G. Galindo, 36, of 530 W. Stevens Drive, Addison, was arrested at 1000 Emerson St. at 10 a.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 23 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
