1600 Dodge

Gunshots were reported in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue, near Evanston Township High School, at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday. Police checked the area, but found nothing.

Battery

1538 Sherman

James J. Panegasser, 37, of 531 Grove St., was arrested at 1538 Sherman Ave. at 12:52 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery.

1830 Dempster

Cameron D. Wilkins, 30, of 28 S. Eastern Ave., Joliet, was arrested at 1830 Dempster St. at 4:55 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

1600 Benson

A known offender is suspected of taking cash from a restaurant in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue between 2:34 a.m. and 2:48 a.m. yesterday.

800 Simpson

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2009 BMW in the 800 block of Simpson Street between midnight and 2 p.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

1400 Chicago

Scratches were discovered on a 2017 Honda at 9:30 a.m. yesterday in an apartment parking space in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue.

Criminal Trespass

1740 Orrington

Bobbie A. Clark, 51, of 1802 Lake St., was arrested at 1740 Orrington Ave. at 1:50 a.m. Saturday and charged with trespass on real property. She is due in court on Dec. 26 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti

Chicago at Madison

Graffiti was discovered on railroad property at Chicago Avenue and Madison Street at 8:45 a.m. Friday.

1031 Monroe

Landis E. Beckett, Jr., 46, of 1315 W. Fargo Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1031 Monroe St. at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday and charged with home repair fraud.

1236 Chicago

Patrick J. Gordon, 52, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1236 Chicago Ave. at 6:32 p.m. Saturday and charged with violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m.

1700 Dempster

Quindin J. Perry, 20, of 1530 South Boulevard, was arrested at 1700 Dempster St. at 1:50 a.m. yesterday and charged with an attempt to flee.

Theft

2400 Oakton

A known offender was suspected of stealing cash from a restaurant in the 2400 block of Oakton Street at about 1:52 a.m. yesterday.

900 Judson

A package containing clothes that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 900 block of Judson Avenue was stolen between 12:30 p.m.and 1:40 p.m. Thursday.

800 Sherman

Amazon firesticks that had been delivered to a home in the 800 block of Sherman Avenue were stolen between 1:47 p.m. and 4 p.m.  on Nov. 27.

1300 Darrow

Merchandise that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 1300 block of Darrow Avenue was stolen between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Traffic

Callan at South Boulevard

Charles A. O’Connor, 44, of 1410 Darrow Ave., was arrested at Callan Avenue and South Boulevard at 9:03 a.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Jan. 10 at 9 a.m.

233 Hartrey

Olanrewaju M. Oshiga, 32, of 7540 N. Ridge Blvd., Chicago, was arrested at 233 Hartrey Ave. at 6:05 p.m. yesterday and charged with consumption of alcohol in a vehicle. A court date has been set for Jan. 22 at 9 a.m.
