Shots Heard

100 Clyde

Gunshots were reported in the 100 block of Clyde Avenue at 11:30 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Dewey at Cleveland

Gunshots were reported at Dewey Avenue and Cleveland Street at 11:04 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

800 Judson

Gunshots were reported in the 800 block of Judson Avenue at 10:32 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Criminal Damage

1100 Crain

Tires were slashed between 4 p.m. Monday and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on a vehicle in the 1100 block of Crain Street.

Graffiti

2400 Central

Graffiti was discovered  in an alley in the 2400 block of Central Street at 9:02 a.m. yesterday.

Theft

1100 Chicago

Hygiene products were taken from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 5:10 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
