The Evanston/Skokie School District 65 Head Start Open House takes place Friday, April 24, 9 m. to 3 p.m. at Joseph E. Hill Education Center, 1500 McDaniel Ave.

Families are invited to tour the facility and classrooms, get more information about eligibility, registration and the program.  Full day and half-day Head Start programs are available for eligible children ages 3-5.  For more information, please call 847 859-8300.

Registration for several early childhood programs takes place April 29 from 7a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hill Education Center.

The program include Doorway to Learning, Head Start, SPPAC (Services for PrePrimary Age Children) and State Pre-K.

Materials will be mailed to families who have children enrolled or receiving service in a District 65 early childhood program.

Completed registrations can be either returned by mail or dropped off at the Hill Center by April 20.

New families and families who cannot register by mail or miss the mail-in deadline can register in person on April 28 and 29.

Registration packets can be picked up prior to registration at the Hill Center.
