Burglars struck six times in Evanston over the weekend.

In two south Evanston cases they broke car windows, grabbed garage door openers from the cars and used those to get into garages.

There were three retail thefts on Chicago Avenue and one on Dodge Avenue.

And three people were arrested and charged with battery in separate incidents
