A tablet computer was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Brown Avenue around 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

900 Ridge

A statue was damaged on a playground in the 900 block of Ridge Avenue around 9:20 a.m. yesterday.

700 Austin

Someone broke the windshield and dented a quarter panel of a 2013 Ford in the 700 block of Austin Street around 1:10 p.m. yesterday

Theft

300 Howard

Merchandise delivered to an apartment common area in the 300 block of Howard Street was stolen between 2 p.m. and 6:46 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Benson

A passenger reported that someone removed a purse from her arm while sleeping on a CTA train around noon yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
