A small, white dog was thought to have been kidnapped from the front yard of a home in the 1400 block of Foster Street. This among the stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFT

1400 Foster

The owner of Bella, a small, white Maltese, let her dog out in the front yard of her home in the 1400 block of Foster Street around 8:30 p.m. yesterday. When she looked for Bella about five minutes later, the dog was nowhere to be found. The owner suspected her pet had been kidnapped and called police.

800 Greenleaf

An unattended blue and black mountain bicycle was stolen from the grounds of Nichols Middle School in the 800 block of Greenleaf Street around 5 p.m. yesterday.

1300 Chicago

Someone entered the patio of the Union Pizzaria in the 1300 block of Chicago Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday and took alcohol from a refrigerator.

600 Chicago

Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

1100 Chicago

Merchandise was taken from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue at about 8 p.m. yesterday.

1500 Payne

A camera reel was stolen from a commercial studio in the 1500 block of Payne Street between 8:30 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. Friday.

BURGLARY

1100 Oakton

Ashanti Dawn Clark, 36, of 9510 S. Constance Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1100 Oakton St. at 9:11 p.m. yesterday and charged with residential burglary.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

1722 Judson

Khesanh B. Dorsey, 33, of 1812 Monroe St., was arrested at 1722 Judson Ave. at 9:36 a.m. yesterday and charged with criminal trespass to property.

GRAFFITI

South Boulevard at Ridge

Graffiti was discovered written in chalk on the sidewalk at a park at South Boulevard and Ridge Avenue at 3:23 p.m. Friday.

2100 Lee

Graffiti was discovered written in black spray paint on a sign in the 2100 block of Lee Street at 11:52 a.m. Friday.

OTHER

1454 Elmwood

Tammy A. Chekos, 47, of 1713 S. Crescent, Park Ridge, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 12:23 p.m. yesterday and charged with violation of an order of protection.

SHOTS HEARD

Mulford at Dewey

Gunshots were reported at Mulford Street and Dewey Avenue at 4:50 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area, but found nothing.

TRAFFIC

1285 Hartrey

Abraham Barrera Morales, 38, of 10071 Frontage Road, Skokie, was arrested at 1285 Hartrey Ave. at 6:49 a.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 1 at 1:30 p.m.

2301 Howard

Americo Trujillo, 27, of 3728 N. Paulina St., Chicago, was arrested at 2301 Howard St. at 6:49 p.m. Friday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on June 15 at 9 a.m.
