Car windows were smashed on Leonard Place, Asbury Avenue and Wesley Avenue, graffiti was sprayed at Calvary Cemetery and a locked bicycle was taken at the high school. These are among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

2500 Prairie
Someone cut the screen of an apartment in the 2500 block of Prairie Avenue and took a laptop computer between 7 a.m. and 6:24 p.m. Monday.

2100 Asbury
Someone smashed the window of a 2005 Toyota parked on the street in the 2100 block of Asbury Avenue between 8:59 p.m. Sunday and 9:15 a.m. Monday. The report does not indicate what, if anything, was taken.

2100 Ridge
Gaming system accessories were taken from an apartment in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue at 3:34 p.m. Monday.

1800 Wesley
Someone broke the window of a 2000 Toyota parked in the driveway of a residence in the 1800 block of Wesley Avenue and took office equipment between 8:19 and 8:29 p.m. Sunday.

Criminal damage to property

300 Chicago
Graffiti was sprayed in Calvary Cemetery in the 300 block of Chicago Avenue at around 10:03 a.m. Monday.

1100 Leonard
Someone smashed the window of a 2005 Ford parked on the street in the 1100 block of Leonard Place at 9:40 a.m. Monday.

1200 Leonard
Someone smashed the window of a 2004 Saturn parked on the street in the 1200 block of Leonard Place at 9:51 a.m. Monday.

Shots fired

1600 Greenleaf
Someone reported shots fired on the street in the 1600 block of Greenleaf Street at 9:53 p.m. Monday. The area was checked but nothing was found.

Theft

100 Asbury
Someone stole the license plate from a 2016 Chevy parked in a business parking lot in the 100 block of Asbury Ave. between noon Sept. 15 and 7:45 a.m. Monday.

1600 Sherman
Headphones were stolen from a discount store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue at 2:47 p.m. Monday

900 Davis
Cash was taken from customers in a restaurant in the 900 block of Davis Street between 10 a.m. Thursday and 2:24 p.m. Monday.

1900 Dempster
Alcohol was taken from the street in the 1900 block of Dempster Street at 10:25 a.m. Monday.

1600 Dodge
A locked bicycle was taken from the grounds of Evanston Township High School at 1600 Dodge Avenue between 8 a.m. and 5:08 p.m. Monday.

Traffic

1009 Oakton
Porscha C. Hamilton, 26, 1512 Pitner Ave., was arrested at 1009 Oakton St. at 9:01 a.m. Monday, charged with a traffic violation and is due to appear in court.

133 Ridge
Kathryn A. McCormick, 56, 636 Northwest Hwy. in Park Ridge, was arrested at 133 Ridge Ave. at 7:20 p.m. Sunday, charged with a traffic violation and is due to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 14.
