Evanston public works crews are continuing their cleanup efforts today from Monday’s snow storm. And bit of light snow this morning isn’t expected to have a major impact on that work.

Trash pickups by the city’s commercial haulers are scheduled to resume today after being canceled because of the storm Monday. You can expect your trash pickup to occur a day later than usual this week.

But city recycling pickups are running on schedule.

Street cleaning operations, which were canceled on Monday, are resuming today.

While the storm dumped as much as a foot of snow in some northwest suburbs, Evanston escaped with two inches or less, so the city hasn’t imposed any snow parking restrictions for today.
