Forecasters say Evanston could get between 3 and 5.5 inches of snow from a storm starting around 7 tonight that may continue through the end of day Monday.

Both the morning and evening rush hours on Monday will likely be impacted by the storm, says Edgar Cano, streets supervisor for Evanston’s Public Works Agency.

Cano says crews have been notified and will be on duty for snow and ice operations this evening into Monday. Parking bans are not anticipated for tonight, but may have to be considered for Monday night, depending on snow totals.
