Snow is forecast for Evanston tonight and tomorrow. It's expected to begin falling lightly around 10 p.m. and increase in intensity around 3 or 4 a.m.

The head of the city's snow control operations, James Maiworm says the Tuesday morning rush hour will be very tricky as the peak snowfall is expected to be occurring then. Snow should slowly taper off and end in the early afternoon.

Total snowfall is expected to be one to three inches.

Maiworm says Public Works has added extra staff to the overnight crew and will begin operations as soon as conditions require.
