Latest estimates are Evanston is likely to get between five and seven inches of snow this weekend.

James Maiworm of the city’s Public Works Agency says the snow will begin as flurries between 5 and 7 p.m. Saturday, building into a steady snow after 8 or 9 p.m.

Snow will be steady until about noon on Sunday and then taper off to light snow or flurries. Snow will then intensify after 2 p.m. Sunday and continue until about midnight.

Maiworm says parking restrictions may be required later in the weekend.
