City of Evanston snow plow crews are expected to have some work to do on Sunday.

Edgar Cano of the city’s Public works Agency says we could see a half inch to an inch of snow on pavement over the course of the day, with steady snowfall startig sometime after 9 a.m. and ending close to 5 p.m.

High temperatures will be close to the freezing mark and crews are prepared to take to the streets as needed.

The National Weather Service says light snow could start before dawn, and the weather service is forecasting heavier snowfall south of us — with southern portions of the metro area possibly seeing two to four inches.
