The Evanston Public Library’s South Branch, 949 Chicago Ave., will stay open until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursday starting March 4.

To mark the extended hours, South Branch will hold an open house until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, March 11 and 13.

Special craft activities for children and refreshments will be available.
