A gun was pointed at a victim during an argument in the parking lot of the Evanston Public Library at 8:31 p.m. Saturday.

Terry A. Hobbs, 23, of 7522 N. Wolcott Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1925 Darrow Ave. at 3:34 a.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Oct. 31 at 9 a.m.
1919 Greenwood
Michael A. Ross, 34, of 622 Hull Terrace, was arrested at 1919 Greenwood St. at 9:34 a.m. Friday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Nov. 8 at 1:30 p.m.
1400 Brown
Dominic P. Stevens, 34, of 2109 Greenwood St., was arrested at 1400 Brown Ave. at 4:39 p.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Oct. 31 at 9:30 a.m.
Burglary
900 Washington
Someone damaged the plexiglass door to gain access to an apartment in the 900 block of Washington Street between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Friday and stole jewelry, a video recording device, and documents.
2300 Hastings
A bicycle was stolen from the unlocked garage of a home in the 2300 block of Hastings Avenue between 6 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Someone broke the rear windshield of a 2005 Ford in the 1800 block of Greenwood Street between midnight and 7:43 a.m. yesterday.
1700 Dempster
Someone spray painted a 2005 Chevrolet in the 1700 block of Dempster Street around 6:30 p.m. yesterday.
1800 Laurel
A 2012 Nissan was spray painted in the 1800 block of Laurel Avenue between 10 p.m. yesterday and 6:30 a.m. today.
1300 McDaniel
Someone broke the living room window of a home in the 1300 block of McDaniel Avenue around 10:20 p.m. Saturday.

2817 Lunt
William K. Stewart, 34, of 8312 Lowell Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 2817 W. Lunt Ave., Chicago, at 3:41 p.m. Friday and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Graffiti
300 Dodge
Graffiti was discovered at 4:05 p.m. Friday at a park in the 300 block of Dodge Avenue.
Custer at Oakton
Graffiti was discovered on a mailbox near Custer Avenue and Oakton Street at 3:06 p.m. yesterday.
Shots Heard
600 Hinman
Gunfire was reported in the 600 block of Hinman Avenue at 11:35 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Theft
2200 Madison
A bicycle was stolen from the yard of a home in the 2200 block of Madison Place between noon and 6 p.m. Saturday.
1500 Sherman
Contents were removed from a purse in a restaurant in the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue between 5:10 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday.
1800 Maple
Clothes left unattended at the Hilton Garden Inn in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue were stolen between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
2100 Green Bay
Drug items were stolen from Walgreens Pharmacy in the 2100 block of Green Bay Road around 5 p.m. yesterday.
300 Ridge
A purse and a cell phone were taken from a patient’s room at Presence St. Francis Hospital around 2:50 p.m. Friday.

Linda Lashae Harris, 30, of 1454 Emerson St., was arrested at 2400 Lake St. at 12:18 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m.

Laura P. Jeffris, 50, of 817 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1015 Howard St. at 6:34 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Nov. 20 at 1:30 p.m.
