Thieves were busy in Evanston Monday. The crime bulletin from Evanston police reports four victims of thefts.
Theft
500 Michigan
A bike was reported stolen from a locked apartment storage area in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue at noon on Monday.
1600 Chicago
A restaurant patron reported their wallet was taken when it was left unattended for a moment in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue. The incident happened at 1:15 p.m.
900 Church
Another theft occured at a restaurant in the 900 block of Church Street about 7:15 p.m. A customer asked for change and then took all the money from the counter.
1100 Simpson
A resident reported a theft at 7:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Simpson Street. Documents were taken from a mailbox in the apartment complex common area.
Drugs
1901 Dempster
Mora Vicente, 25, of 819 Mulford St., was arrested at 1901 Dempster St, Evanston at 8:12 p.m. and charged with possesion of a controlled substance.
Trespass
1930 Ridge
Ong Tristan Florendo, 36, of 1838 Ashland Ave. was arrested at 6:24 p.m. at 1930 Ridge Ave. and charged with trespass. A court date is set for Nov.17 at 9 a.m.
